Watch one of Japan's three greatest fireworks festivals from a private building rooftop in Nagaoka, Niigata — close to the launch site, overlooking the Shinano River and Chosei Bridge.
Pricing, seat count and the on-sale date are all still being decided.
They will be posted here once fixed, and the early-notice list is told first.
Can foreigners buy official Nagaoka Fireworks tickets?
As of 2026, all official seats are sold by lottery only (no first-come sales), the lottery sold out in the first round, and the official resale service is not available to overseas residents. There have been no free viewing areas since 2023. In practice, options for visitors from abroad are limited.
Are your rooftop seats available for 2027?
They are in preparation. Pricing, seat count and the on-sale date are not fixed yet. Joining the free early-notice list is the only step available right now — registrants are contacted before the public announcement.
When is the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival in 2027?
Monday, August 2 and Tuesday, August 3, 2027, on the Shinano River in Nagaoka, Niigata.
Is this an official venue?
No. It is a privately operated rooftop on a building near the launch site, run by Mash Mash Co., Ltd. In 2026 it hosted 22 invited guests as a trial — the event report shows real photographs, guest feedback, and what you cannot see from these seats.
Free, about one minute. Nothing is charged at this stage, and this is not a booking.
